For the Record, I want everyone to know that we have always been known as Brazilian Jiu-jitsu of Wichita Kansas. It is only recently that the decision was made to change the name from Brazilian Jiu-jitsu of Wichita to Castillo Jiu-jitsu. This school is the only Brazilian Jiu-jitsu school in Wichita that has been around and teaching BJJ since we all started hearing about it years ago.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an extremely effective martial art perfected in Brazil. The practitioners of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and many others, believe that the outcome of most fights will be decided on the ground. It favors taking opponents down to the ground, then using dominating positions, holds, joint locks and chokes to control and or subdue an opponent. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu makes a tremendous use of leverage, resulting in techniques that can be performed by almost anyone, regardless of strength or size.

The Brazilian Jiu-jitsu class teaches takedowns, throws, strikes, self-defense and ground grappling with a Gi (uniform). The No-GI or MMA class teaches techniques that are particular to a MMA curiiculum.

Our students consist of Civilians, Law Enforcement and even Military personell.

We can provide Self-defense training, Vale Tudo training and Sport Jiu-jitsu training.

Kids Jiu-jitsu - $50 per Month

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu - $70 per Month

MONDAY and WEDNESDAY: Kids Classes - 5:45 to 6:30

BJJ Class - 6:30 to 8:00-?

TUESDAY and THURSDAY:

Personal Protection Class 5:30 to 6:30

MMA Class - 6:30 to 8:00
