For the Record, I want everyone to know that we are and always have been Brazilian Jiu-jitsu of Wichita Kansas.

This school is the only Brazilian Jiu-jitsu school in Wichita that has been around and teaching BJJ since we all started hearing about it years ago.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an extremely effective martial art perfected in Brazil. The practitioners of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and many others, believe that the outcome of most fights will be decided on the ground. It favors taking opponents down to the ground, then using dominating positions, holds, joint locks and chokes to control and or subdue an opponent.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu makes a tremendous use of leverage, resulting in techniques that can be performed by almost anyone, regardless of strength or size.

The Brazilian Jiu-jitsu class teaches takedowns, throws, strikes, self-defense and ground grappling with a Gi (uniform).

The No-GI or MMA clas teaches techniques that are particular to a MMA curiiculum.

Our students consist of Civilians, Law Enforcement and even Military personell. We can provide Self-defense training,, Vale Tudo training and Sport Jiu-jitsu training.

But we do not stop there. We are the only school in the Midwest that can offer self-defense class that combines Israeli systems of Kapap/Lotar and Commando Krav Maga, and we are currently expanding our knowledge in this type of training.

Kapap/Lotar is based upon effective self-defense and counter-terrorism techniques that have been proven effective by the Israeli's elite miliary units, and has proven itself effectve along with Commando Krav Maga/Israeli Combat Survival.

Please do not get the Commando Krav Maga mixed up with the Krav Maga you have been seeing in the United States for a while, they are simply not the same...remember that!!
